Our story
On Mother's Day weekend in 2012, a hailstorm dropped stones the size of baseballs across Lake Highlands and Richardson. Ray Castillo had been roofing in Dallas for a decade, and he watched out-of-state crews arrive in rented trucks, sign contracts on the curb and disappear before the warranty paperwork was dry.
He started Storm Shield with a simple idea: be the local crew that is still here after the storm chasers leave. Answer the phone at 2 a.m. Tarp the roof before selling anything. Write reports adjusters can use. Build roofs that take the next storm.
Today we run 40 crews out of yards in Dallas and Plano, employ our own inspectors and claims coordinators, and still pick up the storm line on the second ring. (Sample company history for this demo.)
